How Our Hand-Poured Candles Are Made ✨

At Prakrat, every candle is more than just wax and wick—it’s a slow ritual of care, intention, and craft. We believe in creating natural, hand-poured candles that bring warmth and calm into your home while being kind to the planet. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how we make our candles.

Step 1: Choosing Sustainable, Natural Wax 🌿

We use natural soy wax blends that burn cleaner and longer than paraffin. Soy wax is renewable, biodegradable, and ensures a smooth, even burn—perfect for anyone who wants a sustainable candle with a cozy glow.

Step 2: Wicks That Create the Perfect Burn 🕯️

The wick is the candle’s heartbeat. We select cotton and wooden wicks that are lead-free, eco-friendly, and designed for an even flame. Wooden wicks add that gentle crackling sound, turning your candle into a miniature fireplace.

Step 3: Scents Inspired by Nature ✨

Fragrance is the soul of our candles. We blend phthalate-free, non-toxic fragrance oils with essential oils to create aromas that are safe, long-lasting, and beautifully balanced. From calming lavender to warm vanilla and spiced chai, each scent is designed to transform your space and mood.

Step 4: Hand-Pouring in Small Batches

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches to ensure quality. This artisanal approach allows us to check every detail—wax temperature, wick placement, and finish—so your candle arrives perfect and ready to burn.

Step 5: Curing for a Stronger Scent Throw

We let each candle cure naturally, giving the fragrance and wax time to bind together. This ensures a strong “hot throw” (the scent when lit) and “cold throw” (the scent when unlit), so your candle fills the room beautifully.

Step 6: Finishing Touches with Care

Once cured, each candle is polished, labeled, and packaged with eco-friendly materials. Our goal is to make every candle feel like a gift—whether you’re treating yourself or surprising someone else.
